Autosave Bug

The autosave bug, also referred to as the autosave glitch, is a bug that sometimes occurs in Jak X: Combat Racing. When the bug occurs, the autosave functionality will become stuck in an endless loop and the save icon will continuously flash in the bottom left of the screen. Turning off the console while the autosave bug is active has a chance of corrupting your save data.

Loading the save file and removing the memory card will disable the autosave bug. This will also prevent any save data corruption from occurring.

The bug was later patched in the Greatest Hits release of the game.
