The autosave bug, also referred to as the autosave glitch, is a bug that sometimes occurs in Jak X: Combat Racing. When the bug occurs, the autosave functionality will become stuck in an endless loop, unable to finish saving the game. A visual indicator that the bug is occurring is when the save icon is continuously flashing in the bottom left of the screen. Turning off the console while the autosave bug is active has a chance of corrupting your save data.
Loading the save file and removing the memory card will disable the autosave bug. This will also prevent any save data corruption from occurring.
