When completing the "Open the lurker fort gate" mission in Snowy Mountain, Jak is normally expected to ride Flut Flut through a long platforming section to reach a power cell. Collecting the power cell causes Jak to stand on a nearby button, which opens the fortress gate. However, by intentionally falling from a platform and performing a precise spin kick, Jak can reach this lower area directly, completely bypassing the Flut Flut section.
Although the trick may seem easy, there is an invisible barrier present that is intended to prevent Jak from reaching this area without using Flut Flut. However, with a precise angle, Jak can slip underneath the barrier, perform a spin kick, and move horizontally toward the power cell.
