A Scoutfly boosted is a direction shift boosted performed on a Scoutfly crate. It is currently only utilized during Lava Tube Skip to reach the final cold spot.

Discovery
Grig was the first person to discover and perform a Scoutfly Boosted. His method was to frame buffer with pausing until the Scoutfly crate did its hop animation. Once it hopped, Grig would get a boosted from the front of the crate.
On January 21, 2016, while Kuitar was routing the first version of Lava Tube Skip, Ouiji_Shi mentioned that it is possible to do a boosted off of a Scoutfly crate.
