Making use of the following will invalidate a run without exceptions:

  • Disc tray manipulation
  • Any form of speeding-up the runtime of the game.
    • via Progressive Scan
    • any possible future methods (e.g. gameshark, or modified software/hardware)
  • Emulators (ie. PCSX2)
  • Enabling developer tools of any form (aka Debug Mode), this includes:
    • via Controller Inputs
    • via Emulator through ELF editing
    • any possible future methods (e.g. gameshark, or modified software/hardware)
